Careers & Volunteer Opportunities at Asthma Canada

Volunteers in Etobicoke

What would you be doing?

Volunteers will take occasional shifts, typically around two hours, at the gaming centre. During your shift, you’ll represent Asthma Canada and help people learn more about who we are and the work we do.

This may include:

• 💙 Being a friendly and welcoming representative for Asthma Canada
• 💬 Talking with members of the public about our work and the difference we make
• 📣 Sharing information about our programs, resources and advocacy
• 🤝 Helping raise awareness of asthma in the local community
• 📋 Supporting Asthma Canada with any simple duties required as part of our participation

You won’t be expected to sell cards, handle cash or manage any gaming activities. Training and orientation will be provided, so you don’t need any previous experience.

Why does your support matter?

The funds raised through this initiative will help us continue to:

• 💙 Create asthma education tools and resources
• 🔬 Support research into asthma diagnosis and treatment
• 📣 Advocate for better access to asthma care
• 🤝 Support people and families living with asthma across Canada

We’re currently building our volunteer roster, with the initiative planned to launch in early 2027. Volunteers will be able to take occasional shifts rather than committing to a regular schedule.
