August is National Immunization Awareness Month, a August is National Immunization Awareness Month, and Immunize Canada is advocating for everyone to stay up to date on all recommended vaccines so that they can live healthier lives protected against vaccine-preventable diseases.  Not long ago, there was no way to protect yourself from many devastating diseases. But vaccines changed this landscape, and as time progressed, more diseases became preventable by vaccinations, and health outcomes greatly improved.  Let’s not turn back the clock to former times. This National Immunization Awareness Month, Immunize Canada is focusing on shedding light on the importance of staying up to date on recommended vaccinations, as well as the importance of immunizations throughout the lifespan.  Asthma Canada is proud to support Immunize Canada in promoting National Immunization Awareness Month and the significance of vaccination use and access.
