Asthme Canada est profondément attristé par le déc Asthme Canada est profondément attristé par le décès de Chloé Bélanger, 4 ans, de Gatineau (Québec), survenu le 17 mars 2026 à la suite d’une crise d’asthme.  Nous sommes de tout cœur avec la famille de Chloé, ainsi qu’avec toutes les personnes, partout au Canada, qui ont perdu une personne chère en raison de l’asthme.  L’asthme est une maladie grave. Pourtant, chaque année, trop de vies sont encore perdues. Asthme Canada poursuivra son travail pour sensibiliser, informer et prévenir ces pertes évitables.  __  Asthma Canada is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of 4-year-old Chloé Bélanger from Gatineau, Quebec, following an asthma attack, on March 17, 2026.  Our hearts and thoughts are with Chloé’s family during this unimaginable time, and with all those across Canada who have lost loved ones to asthma.  Asthma Canada remains committed to raising awareness about the seriousness of asthma and asthma attacks, because too many lives are lost needlessly every year to this condition.
Asthma Canada is very excited to welcome Divya Iye Asthma Canada is very excited to welcome Divya Iyer as our new Manager, Development & Stewardship.  Divya (they/them/theirs) is an accomplished fundraising professional with a passion for cultivating and nurturing meaningful relationships with donors.  Having worked with Opera Atelier, the CNE Foundation, and most recently, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, they bring a wealth of experience in partnerships, donor communications and stewardship.  Divya strongly believes in Asthma Canada’s vision of a future without asthma, and they are enthusiastic about using their knowledge and skills to push towards that future, one step at a time.  Divya joins a dedicated team, and we look forward to all they will accomplish with us.
