Do you have asthma? Consider participating in th Do you have asthma?  Consider participating in this clinical research study if you: 
•	Are at least 18 years of age. 
•	Have moderate or severe asthma with symptoms. 
•	In addition to an inhaled corticosteroid, you also use at least one other inhaler or oral medication to treat your asthma. 
•	Had an emergency room/hospital visit OR required treatment with oral/injectable corticosteroids like prednisone to treat your asthma in the last 12 months.  If you participate, you will be seen by a study doctor who will closely monitor your asthma symptoms. Our new space themed game, Mission Breathe, is a fun, interactive way for children ages 5-10 to learn about asthma, triggers, what to do in an emergency, and to build confidence in caring for their health.  Through videos, games, quizzes and fun characters, kids will learn:  🔹What asthma is and how it affects their bodies

🔹What to do in case of an emergency

Around 12% of Canadian children, approximately 900 Around 12% of Canadian children, approximately 900,000, live with asthma, making it the most common chronic respiratory condition among kids.  When asthma is well-managed, children can remain symptom-free and fully participate in school and physical activities. But when poorly controlled, asthma can lead to fatigue, frequent absences, and academic challenges. In fact, it’s one of the top causes of missed school days nationwide.  Each year, more than 20,000 children in Canada are hospitalized due to asthma, with many admissions occurring in the fall. This underscores the urgent need for effective asthma management during back-to-school season, especially during the September Asthma Peak. Join us for the 7th Annual Rudhro Prince Memorial Join us for the 7th Annual Rudhro Prince Memorial Walk 💙  In 2018, Rudhro Prince tragically passed away at the age of eight from a sudden asthma attack. His family are now working to honour his memory and help create a better world for those living with asthma.  Join us Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Andrew Haydon Park, Ottawa for a heartfelt day of remembrance, community, and purpose.
