Asthma Canada is proud to officially launch our ne Asthma Canada is proud to officially launch our new national asthma education and awareness campaign, “Asthma, the Roommate”. The goal of this campaign is to educate on the critical difference between controlled and uncontrolled asthma and empower individuals to assess whether their asthma is truly under control. Many people may think their asthma is well-managed, yet still experience symptoms that indicate otherwise. Despite advancements in care, 1 in 2 people with asthma in Canada continue to experience uncontrolled asthma, leading to reduced quality of life, ER visits, hospitalizations, and even fatalities. By clearly defining the signs of uncontrolled asthma, this campaign aims to spark a national conversation and encourage people in Canada to A.C.T. on asthma. Learn more and access tools to take control of your asthma through the link in our bio. #asthma #AsthmaAwareness #ACTonAsthma
