Tomorrow, May 1, Asthma Awareness Month officially Tomorrow, May 1, Asthma Awareness Month officially begins, and we wanted to take a moment to share Josh Rheume’s video from last year’s campaign. His story is a testament to this work and shows what’s possible when you take that step and take control of your asthma. While our 2026 theme focuses on asthma attacks, how to recognize them and what to do when they happen, it also reinforces an important truth: keeping your asthma under control is key to helping prevent them. #CAREforAsthma #AsthmaAwarenessMonth
With just days to go until Asthma Awareness Month With just days to go until Asthma Awareness Month 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on last year’s inaugural campaign in Canada. As part of that campaign, we shared the powerful story of Amber Marie McCollom, who tragically lost her life to a severe asthma attack at just 14 years old. Amber’s story helped shine a light on the reality of asthma and how serious and life-threatening it can be. We are deeply grateful to her mother, Kimberly, for her courage in sharing Amber’s story and for being part of the Asthma Canada community. #CAREforAsthma #AsthmaAwarenessMonth #asthma #worldAsthmaDay
