Severe Asthma: The Canadian Patient Journey Our study, Severe Asthma: The Canadian Patient Journey revealed the social, financial and health impacts of Severe Asthma on the lives of Canadians. This landmark study is now used to educate, raise awareness and advocate on behalf of the estimated 150,000 – 250,000 Canadians living with Severe Asthma.

Asthma Canada was pleased to welcome Riley Sanders Asthma Canada was pleased to welcome Riley Sanders from Global Airway and Allergies Patient Platform (GAAPP) to our Toronto office on Thursday.  As longstanding members of GAAPP, we are excited for Riley and his new role based in Canada. We discussed opportunities to strengthen our partnership and to collaborate on national, North American and global advocacy efforts, supporting equitable care for people living with asthma and allergies.  We look forward to working with GAAPP and member organizations on best practices and shared learning, including elevating patient voices, building advocates and ambassadors, and leveraging Canada’s strengths within the global asthma and allergy community.  #asthma @gaapporg
Asthma Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Al Asthma Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Allergy, Asthma and Immunolology Foundation (CAAIF), is proud to announce the opening of the 2026 Graduate Student Awards in Asthma.
