Jeffrey Beach
President & Chief Executive Officer
Jeff is a passionate leader in the Canadian non-profit sector, with more than 25 years’ experience in management, community and fund development. He is driven to help others and thrives on developing and executing strategies to empower people to reach their full potential despite the health and social challenges they face.
Prior to joining Asthma Canada, Jeff was the Executive Director for the Canadian Spondyloarthritis Association (CSA). His career began with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) and evolved to progressive leadership positions with Youth Assisting Youth, The Arthritis Society, the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON Canada), Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support, and Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Jeff is a lifelong volunteer for faith and community-based causes, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Brain Health Initiative, a Past Chair of the Board of Directors for Federated Health Charities, a member of the Advisory Council for A Life Worth Living and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Toronto Chapter.

Zhen Liu

Zhen has over 10 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. She has a strong belief in the positive impact that charities make on children, youth, families and community members across Canada. She joined Asthma Canada because she wanted to empower individuals affected by asthma and provide them with the opportunity to engage in meaningful programs and access resources to improve their overall health and well-being.
Megan Leigh
Director, Development
Megan joined the Asthma Canada team in 2024 as Director of Development. With years of experience raising funds for other non-profit organizations including her most recent work with Chai Lifeline Canada, she looks forward to growing Asthma Canada’s revenue, building relationships with donors, and launching new fundraising initiatives. Megan came to Asthma Canada with the goal of exceeding previous fundraising targets to support the organization’s vision of a future without asthma.
Pauric Keegan
Communications and Marketing Specialist
Pauric brings over six years of experience in the not-for-profit sector to the role, having held marketing and communications positions at the Asthma Society of Ireland, Compliance Institute, and most recently, the Irish Heart Foundation.
Equipped with an Honors Degree in Digital Media from Maynooth University, Ireland and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from Dublin School of Business, Ireland he is well-versed in crafting engaging communication campaigns and activities spanning health promotion, advocacy, and fundraising.
Zoe Ullyett
Intern, Research and Communication
Zoe is in her final semester of the Master of Public Health program at Brock University. She is currently completing her placement at Asthma Canada as a research and communication intern. She is excited to be working with an amazing organization that allows her to apply her knowledge and education into making a positive impact for those living with asthma. Growing up with asthma, she wished she knew about the organization as it is a valuable resource that educates and provides engagement opportunities to the public to advocate about their needs.
Adrienne Lam
Intern, Education
Adrienne recently completed her undergrad in human biology at the University of Toronto. She will be returning for her master’s in public health in epidemiology in the fall. This summer, Adrienne will be joining Asthma Canada as an education program assistant. Growing up with asthma, she is thrilled to be able to work alongside passionate colleagues at a national organization and contribute meaningfully to improve the lives of those affected. Recognizing the importance of self-advocacy, Adrienne is excited to connect with the community to further expand Asthma Canada’s outreach so that all Canadians can access these valuable resources for self-management and feel empowered.
Moreyell Kahlon
Intern, Development
Moreyell is a student at McMaster University, pursuing a degree in Health Sciences and Humanities, complemented by minors in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability. With a strong passion for healthcare and advocacy, and personal experience with asthma, Mor is thrilled to join Asthma Canada as a Summer Student, eager to contribute to their vision of a future without asthma.
