As President and CEO of Asthma Canada, Jeffrey Beach’s work extends well beyond the office. Over the past year, he has represented Asthma Canada regionally, nationally, and internationally, ensuring the voices of people in Canada living with asthma are heard wherever important healthcare decisions and discussions take place.
From speaking with healthcare leaders, researchers, policymakers, patient advocates, and sector partners at the Canadian Respiratory Conference in Calgary, the Canadian Drug Agency Symposium in Ottawa, and the Build Good Fundraising Conference and Patient Voice Partners Conference in Toronto, to representing Asthma Canada on the global stage at the GAAPP Summit and the European Respiratory Society Congress in Amsterdam, Jeffrey has been championing the needs of people living with asthma and strengthening partnerships that can improve care and outcomes.
For the millions of people living in Canada affected by asthma, this work matters. Asthma is often underestimated. For many individuals and families, it is a chronic and unpredictable disease that can affect every aspect of daily life and in some cases, become life-threatening. In 2026, no one should lose their life to asthma.
When Asthma Canada has a seat at these tables, patients and families have a voice too. Your support makes this possible. Because of donors like you, Asthma Canada can continue advancing education, advocacy, research partnerships, and awareness initiatives that help improve asthma care across Canada. Together, we are ensuring that the experiences and needs of people living with asthma are represented at every level, from local communities to the international stage.
