#Top10TipsForAsthmaControl - TIP 1: Book a yearly #Top10TipsForAsthmaControl - TIP 1: Book a yearly asthma check-up!  Meet with your healthcare professional at least once a year to review your #asthma, treatment plan and overall control.  Ensure you discuss:
• Have you been experiencing coughing or wheezing because of your asthma? 
• Has asthma been disrupting your sleep, waking you up or keeping you awake at night? 
• Have you been struggling to breathe during physical activities due to your asthma? 
• Have you been missing work or school because of your asthma? 
• Have you been using your reliever inhaler (usually blue) more than twice a week to manage symptoms?

A look back at 2025: on World Asthma Day, Asthma C A look back at 2025: on World Asthma Day, Asthma Canada hosted Breath of Fresh Hope, a special reception in Toronto that brought together volunteers, donors, partners, healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates from across our community.  The evening was a powerful opportunity to connect, learn, and reflect on why our work matters. We were honoured to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Teresa To, to unveil our 2025 to 2030 Strategic Plan, and to listen to Kimberly Couvillon share the deeply personal story of her daughter, Amber.  Together, the event reinforced the importance of continued education, research, and advocacy to improve the lives of people living with asthma across Canada.
